Grabowski Seminars - Click here for more information about the seminars!

The Club will offer a series of Boating Seminars for club members and other interested boaters starting in April 2013.  These "Grabowski Seminars," named for long time DRYC member, USCG Captain and teacher Walter Grabowski (founder of Philadelphia Sailing School), will be offered monthly throughout the year.

Topics will include anything from knots to navigation to boating safety to USCG Captains License to rules of the road and racing rules to chartering in the Caribbean, and ocean sailing.  Specific topics will be chosen by participants from a list of suggestions offered by club members.  The first Seminar will be on "Knots you Need to Know" presented by DRYC Member Capt. David Appleton at the Club on Wednesday, April 10 at 1830 (6:30 pm for lubbers!!) just prior to the general meeting.

This series will fulfill part of the educational mission of the Club and enhance our members' understanding and appreciation of the boating experience.  We hope you will join us.
